For gardeners, annual flower growing can be a great way to bring beauty and pollinators into your space. This class will go over the basics of site selection and seed-starting. We will focus on the best annual flowers for beginning growers looking to bring beauty both outside and inside. We will tackle weeding, feeding, and watering schedules. Learn what flowers the professionals pick for beauty and cutting, when to harvest for long-lasting bouquets, and other uses for cut flowers.

Instructor: Amanda Sattler-
Amanda Sattler is a life long gardener and owner of Uproot Blooms flower farm for the past 2 and a half years. After going to school for Agriculture in California and attending "farm school" for a year, her family moved to Kentucky in 2019 for the opportunity to start their own little farm and homestead. You'll always find Amanda with dirt under her nails and a kid or two hanging on her coveralls.
