Above the Dirt provides the Louisville, KY community with the opportunity to enjoy of playing with dirt and growing your own garden. A little dirt under your nails is a good thing.


Our plant and honey retail store is built for the hobby and backyard gardener.  We took an old gas station and turned into a garden shop. We are self described as enthusuastic hobbyists- jump on board with us you can be a crazy plant lady (or plant parent) with us!


Located in the J-town Historic Gaslight District. We specialize in house plants year-round, landscaping with native and non-invasive perennials and shrubs, honey, spring, fall and winter annuals!
