What will we do at this class?
In a discussion style lesson the group will learn the basics of propagation from cuttings, splitting a parent plant, encouraging plant growth, and basics of feeding your plant.
In the second portion of the class we will join together to get our hands dirty, split some plants, make some cuttings, and pot a rooted cutting.
Who should attend?
Beginner to intermediate house plant parents. If you feel like you could probably teach this class, then it would be too basic for you - however you are still very welcome to attend, add your expertise, and propagate a plant with us.
What should I bring?
- Pen and paper
- Any questions you have about propagating plants!
- If you have a plant that you'd like to learn how to propagate - bring it - but not required.
- An open mind, curious heart, and willingness to participate with the group.
What is included?

You will leave with a freshly potted (pre-rooted) plant cutting in a 3” nursery pot from Above the Dirt Garden Shop
