Jodi will walk you through how Gourd & Porch creates its signature displays using different pumpkin shapes, sizes, colors and textures — and then you'll get to try it yourself!

What Will we Do at this Class?

We’ll talk about how to choose pumpkins that work well together, how to use different sizes, shapes, colors and varieties, and tips for helping your pumpkins last throughout the fall season.



Then it’s your turn! You’ll work with real pumpkins and gourds to create and style your own mini pumpkin display with guidance from Jodi.

Who SHould Attend

Anyone who loves pumpkins, fall decorating, or wants to make their front porch look a little more put together this season.


No decorating or design experience needed. Come by yourself or bring a friend — pumpkin styling is more fun together.

What Should I Bring?

Nothing is required! Just bring yourself and be ready to play with pumpkins. If you’d like, bring a photo of your own porch or entryway so you can think through how the styling techniques could work at home.

  • Real pumpkins, gourds, straw, mums, annuals, and corn stalks to work with during class
  • Step-by-step styling instruction
